Older than he looks

When we go out, people always think Jack is older than he is. I actually think that this happens to a lot of kids because hostesses don't understand that nine month old children don't yet know how to stay in the lines.

So, at our most recent restaurant visit, we decided to let the waitress give him the crayons to see what he would do.

Yep. That's what we thought.

We've had the same thing happen and I thought it was so funny. Not only did they give Zackary the crayons/coloring book, they gave him the kids napkin with a fork rolled up inside!! I found it amusing.

Ha! I love the first picture - what a face. Kaitlyn has started coloring (in fact, she LOVES it) so now the problem is crawling under the table 100 times to retrieve the crayons that have rolled off. Someone needs to invent non-rolling crayons.

Very cute! We started getting crayons and menus when Moses was 6m!
